Based on our 2026 rate card, a professionally built website in Malaysia starts from RM2,800 for a landing page, RM5,500 for a corporate website and RM6,500 for an online store. Custom WordPress builds start from RM12,000. What you finally pay depends mostly on the number of pages, the features you need and who prepares the content.
What are the typical price ranges?
These are starting prices from our own 2026 rate card. Other agencies will price differently, but the categories are broadly the same across the market.
| Type of website | What it usually includes | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| Landing page | A single page or sales page, payment gateway, basic SEO | From RM2,800 |
| Corporate website | Up to 10 pages, custom design, basic SEO and analytics | From RM5,500 |
| E-commerce | WooCommerce store, up to 20 product listings, payments, shipping | From RM6,500 |
| Custom WordPress build | Custom theme, custom content types, advanced features | From RM12,000 |
| Web app or headless build | Laravel systems, Next.js front ends, integrations | By quotation |
If you are revamping a site you already have, the starting prices are landing pages from RM2,300, corporate websites from RM5,000 and e-commerce from RM6,500. Our website packages also include a free domain and hosting for the first year.
What pushes the cost up or down?
Two websites that look similar can be priced very differently. The main drivers are:
- Number of pages and templates. Ten pages that share one layout cost less than ten pages that each need their own design. Extra pages start from RM300 each.
- Features. Online payments, bookings, member logins, search and connections to other systems all add work.
- Content. If you supply finished text and photos, the project moves faster. Copywriting is RM200 a page.
- Design. A custom design built around your brand takes longer than adjusting a ready-made theme.
- Branding. If you need a logo and brand identity first, that starts from RM2,000.
- Languages. A bilingual or multilingual site starts from RM3,000 extra, because every page, menu and form needs a second version.
- Animation. Custom GSAP or Lottie animation starts from RM1,500.
- Hosting and migration. Moving an existing site or setting up your own hosting starts from RM800.
Why do quotes for the “same” website vary so much?
Usually because the quotes are not for the same thing. One vendor may assume a template and your own content. Another may include custom design, copywriting, SEO setup, training and a month of support.
When you compare quotes, put them side by side and check each one for:
- Custom design or a template
- Who writes and uploads the content
- The number of pages and revision rounds
- Whether SEO setup, analytics and speed tuning are included
- Hosting, domain and email
- Training and handover
- What support looks like after launch, and what it costs
A lower quote that leaves out half of this list is not cheaper. It just moves the cost to later.
What ongoing costs should you budget for?
The build is only part of the cost. Plan for:
- Domain and hosting after the first year
- Maintenance, which covers updates, backups, monitoring and security. Our care plans are RM650, RM1,000 or RM1,400 a month depending on the number of sites and level of cover.
- Search visibility, if you want the site to be found. A one-time Basic SEO setup is RM1,250. Monthly SEO plans are RM2,500 or RM3,750 a month, with a 3-month minimum, and include AI search optimisation.
- Content updates as your prices, services and team change
How long does a website take to build?
Most business websites take 4 to 8 weeks from the first discussion to launch. The biggest factor is usually content: sites where the text and photos are ready on time launch on time.
How can you keep the cost down without cutting corners?
- Decide the one thing the site must do. Win enquiries, take orders or take registrations. Features that do not serve that goal can wait.
- Start with fewer, better pages. You can add more later.
- Prepare your content early. Text, photos, logos and product details.
- Phase the extras. Launch the core site first, then add a second language, animation or new features in a later phase.
- Do not skip the basics. Speed, mobile layout, security and basic SEO are cheaper to build in than to fix afterwards.

FAQ
Is a cheap template website good enough?
It can be, for a simple online presence. The trade-off is that a template looks like many other sites and may be hard to change later. If the site needs to win enquiries, a design built around your business usually pays for itself.
Are domain and hosting included?
Our website packages include a free domain and hosting for the first year. If you already have hosting, we can set it up or migrate your site from RM800.
Do government agencies pay the same rates?
Government projects are priced by quotation, because they usually involve extra requirements such as security reviews, documentation and formal handover.
